About Me

I am a PA Certified Music Teacher.  I studied under Nancy Chumachenco in Switzerland, Feng Hew and Eva Herrer in Buffalo, New York, and Jeffrey Solow at Temple University’s Boyer College of Music, and I graduated from Temple University’s Boyer College of Music. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education.

I have played with the Orchard Park Symphony Orchestra, the Four Centuries Chamber Orchestra, the Benjamin String Quartet, and the Amitie Trio.

In addition to instructing my private studio students, I directed Eli’s Friends children’s choir at Hamilton Park United Church of Christ in Lancaster, PA.  I taught 1st and 2nd grade violin atBrecht Elementary School.  I was a substitute teacher for Conestoga Valley School District, Manheim Township School District, Hempfield School District, and the School District of Lancaster.

I am a member of ASTA (American String Teachers Association)SAA(Suzuki Association of the Americas)NAFME(National Association for Music Education)PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) and MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).

In addition to teaching, I am also available to play solo cello music at weddings, parties and special events.
